Speaking to the media Milagres Fernandes said that the municipality should immediately remove the thermal waste collection box, near the wholesale fish market and put a ban n on the use of thermal. He further said that, despite the law banning the use of thermal, it is still being used in the market, raising concerns and posing a health hazard to the entire village. The locals urge the municipality and other authorities to take necessary actions and address this issue as soon as possible. He further highlighted the land filling issue near the wholesale fish market and said that it could potentially lead to illegal residential areas in the future if the landfilling does not stop.
