North St. Announces a New Handlebar Pack Plus Updated Pannier and Trunk Bags - Bikerumor

When it comes to bikepacking or touring, there’s an art to finding the right combination of cargo bags and organizing your gear to optimize convenience and comfort for you, the rider. North St. has revised a few of their bags for 2024, including two sizes of panniers and a trunk bag. They’ve also announced an all-new handlebar bag.

The brand’s former ‘Adventure Micro Pannier’ has now been split into two smaller and larger models called the Adventure Micro and Adventure Macro Panniers. Their Roll-Top Trunk Bag has also been redesigned with a better top opening and a more secure bike attachment. Finally, the new Handlebar Pack offers convenient storage for small items you wish to keep close at hand. Electrician Tool Bag

North St. Announces a New Handlebar Pack Plus Updated Pannier and Trunk Bags - Bikerumor

An all-new item from North St. is the simply named Handlebar Pack. The pack’s sleek and simple design offers a 2.8L capacity. The Handlebar Pack is made from EcoPak fabric (a 100% recycled sailcloth), and includes a stiffener panel to hold the bag’s shape.

6” Nano Voile straps and a shock-cord stabilizer attach the pack to your bike, and D-ring tabs make it possible to add an optional shoulder strap for convenient off-bike carrying.

As for storage, the main pocket features an internal organizer and a key clip. Additional internal pocket add-ons are available to further divide your cargo, which attach via hook-and-loop. One clever touch is the rider-facing mesh pouches that hold items within view and at easy access.

The Handlebar Pack’s dimensions are 9” x 5” x 3.75”, and it weighs 7.2oz. North St. is offering five standard in stock colors (Ocean Blue, Coyote, Teal, Blazer Orange or Black), plus eight more made-to-order color combinations. MSRP is $95.

The updated Adventure Micro Pannier boasts a streamlined design with a 14L capacity. North St. has redesigned and improved the hook-and-loop strap system that attaches the bag to your rack. The system includes a bottom compression strap that loops through your rack to ensure a secure attachment. North St. says the Adventure Micro Pannier should fit nearly any rack available.

They’ve also updated this pannier with more rugged construction to make the bag suitable for bikepacking or gravel touring. Furthermore, they have restyled the roll-top for better cargo access and a more secure closure. This compact pannier is made from EcoPak fabric. It offers an external zippered pocket, and internal hook-and-loop pocket add-ons are available. D-rings enable the option of adding a shoulder strap.

The pannier measures 18” x 9” x 5” when open, and stands 12” tall with the top closed. The bag can carry 14L of cargo left open, or 10L with the roll-top shut. Weight is 16.5oz.

The Adventure Micro Pannier is available in five stock colors (all pieces in this article come in the same five colors as the Handlebar Pack), and eight more made-to-order color combinations. It retails for $120.

The Macro version of the adventure pannier offers a 21L capacity, and many of the same features as the Micro version described above. It’s attachment system offers the same improvements to ensure a secure fit to your bike, and it’s roll-top has been redesigned for easier access and a snug closure.

The Adventure Macro Pannier has also been updated with more rugged construction featuring EcoPak fabric. Like the smaller version it offers the options of adding internal hook-and-loop pocket add-ons and a shoulder strap.

Dimensions for the Adventure Macro Pannier are 20” x 10.24” x 6.5”, and when closed the pack measures 14” tall. Its capacity is 21L (open) or 15L (closed). The bag weighs 19.5oz. The Adventure Macro Pannier is available in five standard colors plus eight made-to-order color combinations. It sells for $140.

North St.’s Roll-Top Trunk Bag has also been revised for 2024, with an updated roll-top designed to improve cargo access and offer a more secure closure. Quick and easy hook-and-loop straps keep the bag’s roll-top closed. Four sturdy, grippy hook-and-loop straps keep this rack top bag secured to your bike. If you want the pack to come with you when you’re off the bike, D-rings allow you to add an optional shoulder strap.

The Roll-Top Trunk Bag’s shell is made from EcoPak EPX200 fabric, and it features a bright yellow interior so you can see your cargo easily. The bag offers a front zippered pocket with a key clip, and internal pocket add-ons are available if you want more separation or organization for your stuff.

The capacity of the Roll-Top Trunk Bag ranges from 8-12L, and its dimensions (when open) are 13” x 4.75” x 12”. It is available in five standard colors or eight more color combinations that are made-to-order. The pack weighs in at 9.7oz. MSRP is $120.
