The fact behind every news! Plastic Extrusion Machinery
Currently, a video is going viral on social media in which plastics of huge quantities are put into machines and small granules are manufactured from it. In this video, we can see a man putting plastics in machines and before the final product, the plastics undergo various processes.
Users are claiming that this is the video of the production of fake wheat from the plastics that are now being sold in the market.
However, Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. This is not a video of production of fake wheat. This is a video of recycling of plastics.
We noticed that a watermark ‘Smartest worker’ was visible in the video.
A Google Keyword search revealed that the video was uploaded on 24 September by an Instagram account carrying the same ‘Smartest Worker’ name. It was mentioned that this is a video of recycling of the waste plastics. The caption of the post reads, ‘Plastic’s New Purpose: Unveiling the Recycling Journey’

First, the plastics are cleaned with a ‘dust cleaner machine’. After this, these are put into a ‘scrap grinder machine’ and cut into small pieces. These pieces are placed in a machine called ‘washing conveyor’ which cleans them. Next, the wet plastic pieces are put into a ‘film dryer machine’ to dry them. These dried pieces are then fed into an ‘Agglomerator Machine’ where they are further chopped and ground. From there it is put into the ‘heating barrel’. Then it is cooled with water and put into a cutter and granules of plastics are made.
Fact Crescendo found the claim to be false. This is not a video of manufacturing of plastic wheat. This is a video of recycling of waste plastics.
