Welcome back to our monthly events preview, where we highlight activities within a one-mile radius of Sound Transit stations.

Oct. 2 – 6: Bellevue Jazz & Blues Music Series (Bellevue) Dive into soulful sounds at this lively music series featuring top jazz and blues performers.

Oct. 4 – 12: Seattle Latino Film Festival (Multiple Seattle locations) Celebrate Hispanic and Romance Language Cinema with screenings across the city.

Oct. 8 – 13: Tasveer South Asian Film Festival (Multiple Seattle locations) Explore diverse narratives of South Asian storytellers through films, workshops, and more.

Oct. 10 – 13: Seattle Queer Film Festival (Three Dollar Bill Cinema, Seattle) A dynamic showcase of films that highlight queer narratives and identities. 

Haunted Houses & Spooky Fun

Oct. 3 – Nov. 2: Frighthouse Station (Tacoma) Enter if you dare—this haunted house promises spine-tingling scares!

Oct. 4 – Nov. 2: Nile Nightmares (Mountlake Terrace) With haunted houses and terrifying activities, this is a must-visit for thrill-seekers.

Oct. 6: Halloween Pet Parade (Volunteer Park, Seattle) Dress up your furry friends for a spooky stroll in the park!

Oct. 25 – 26: Boo! Seattle (WaMu Theater, Seattle) Join this epic Halloween party featuring DJs, costumes, and surprises!

Oct. 31: Boo-Allup (Puyallup) All treats, no tricks! Enjoy a fun-filled, family-friendly Halloween event with local businesses and the Puyallup community.

Oct. 3 – 6: Tacoma Fall RV Show (Tacoma Dome) Get inspired for your next outdoor adventure with the latest RVs and camping gear.

Oct. 4 – 6: Northwest Chocolate Festival (Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue) Indulge in decadent chocolate treats and meet expert chocolatiers at this sweet festival.

Oct. 4 – 6: International Quilt & Fiber Arts Festival (Angel of the Winds Arena, Everett) A celebration of beautiful quilts, fiber arts, and creativity from around the world.

Oct. 19: Puyallup Flat Track Motorcycle & Quad Racing (Washington State Fair Event Center, Puyallup) Watch thrilling motorcycle and quad racing on the flat track!

Oct. 19 – 20: Oddities & Curiosities Expo (Seattle Convention Center) Explore the bizarre and unusual at this one-of-a-kind expo featuring odd art, taxidermy, and curiosities.
