The Blackhawks play in Philly this evening, but the real drama for fans is on the college ice. The great news is the Blackhawks will have least — worst case scenario — one prospect and his team advancing to the Frozen Four this evening. They might have three prospects and two teams for us to watch/care about when the dust settles tonight. And could have a fourth prospect and as many as three teams advance tomorrow. That’s awesome.
In the early game, Blackhawks center prospect Aidan Thompson and the Denver Pioneers will look to punch another ticket to the Frozen Four against Cornell, who upset Maine on Thursday night. The second game is loaded with Blackhawks prospects. Ryan Greene, who scored on Thursday, will help Boston University battle Oliver Moore, Sam Rinzel and the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
