The German technology supplier said the machine works with a production speed of 300 bpm with ceramic inks for the decoration of round beer and soft drink glass bottles.

The machine is used in several countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia.

The advanced servo-technology enables ergonomic and easy operation, and reduces maintenance time, short job changes and low tooling cost for highly efficient production.

• Individual servo driven article rotation for optical seam detection (optional)

• Suitable for hot environments up to 60 °C

• Up to eight printing stations

Additionally, the guaranteed tolerance from colour to colour is ±0.1 mm for perfect registration at high-speed for multi-colour decoration.

There is also the option for a high performance pre-registration camera seam/embossing system, which ensures touchless pre-registration without requiring any mechanical registration mark, thus making it possible to reduce the weight of the bottle.

Koenig & Bauer Kammann is among more than 100 glass technology suppliers exhibiting at the Glassman Latin America trade show and conference in Mexico City on May 15 and 16.
