The EVpack-fuse and the M-fuse are fast acting DC fuses engineered for EV/HEV and battery storage systems. They are protected from 100 up to 1000VDC and up to 600A with Minimum Breaking Capacity (MBC). The DC fuses have been tested in DC conditions to ensure fast and reliable protection for large fault currents. Moreover, the Mersen Protistor series provides battery storage protection up to 1500VDC and exceeding 3500A.
The Xp series features a combination between a pyrotechnic heart and a fuse, which delivers fast operating time, low watt losses and high cycling performances up to 1000VDC. The Xs series consists on a resettable DC power switching relay with superior cycling capability and fast high-fault clearing at high DC voltages while maintaining low or almost no power loss over the DC voltage and current range.
