Fearless Bikes Releases New Steel Version of the Vulture Gravel / Adventure Bike - Bikerumor

A little more than a year ago, Fearless Bikes launched the Vulture Ti Gravel bike. Well, now the UK brand has a steel version! Introducing the new Vulture MK2. Fearless Bikes says this is the same bike as the titanium version but in double-butted chromoly steel.

The MK2 is a big tire gravel bike designed to be ridden all day covering many miles. The geometry is a little slacker on the MK2, and it runs a more compact frame, improving standover clearance. Vulture says that with the MK2, they’ve found the right balance of “good road manners and excellent off-road performance”. 29 rigid fork

The Vulture MK2 can run tires as big as 700x55mm or 650bx60mm. This opens up your choices for tire widths and tread patterns. Besides the freedom to pick the right tire, the MK2 frameset also offers cable routing for a bottom-pull front derailleur.

Included with the frameset is the Vulture MK2’s highly versatile steel fork that’s chock full of features. With the large array of mounting points, the fork is ready for just about any front carrier/cage combinations including smaller bag supports, mid-blade rack mounts, and dropout-mounted porter-style bags. There’s also hassle-free external dynamo light wire routing that runs behind the right fork blade with removable cable clips.

The frame’s tapered headtube has a 44mm ID that will accept a 1.5″ tapered carbon fork. Fearless says the geometry “is designed so there’s no change to the geo when a fork with an A/C around 398 is fitted with a 44mm external headset cup.”
