1949: Snow White automatic laundry opens in Normal

This photo appeared in the May 15, 1949 edition of The Pantagraph with the following caption: "The Snow White automatic laundry, 106 E. Beaufort S., Normal, opened Saturday morning. The new laundry is owned by Charles Cornick and will be operated by Mrs. L. T. Cornick. The laundry is self-service and has available 20 washing machines and seven dryers.
