ASUS has launched its newest gaming laptop featuring AMD's Strix APUs with two different models. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 laptop supports various AMD Ryzen AI tasks such as hand gesture detection and eye gaze correction. Moreover, the laptop will support Windows Copilot tools like email summarization locally. The configuration of Zephyrus G16 will offer up to an RTX 4070 laptop GPU for a better gaming experience and faster 3D graphics rendering. Combined with the built-in NPU, the laptop will be able to assist its users in photo and video editing, and image generation.
The NVIDIA RTX 40 series GPUs support DLSS 3.0 Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction for modern titles. With currently two GPU options available for the laptop, users can opt for either the more powerful RTX 4070 or the budget RTX 4060 laptop GPU to meet their requirements. Packed with a fantastic 16-inch ROG Nebula OLED display, boasting a resolution of 2560x1600p, the laptop is ready to deliver vibrant and detailed images. Through an incredibly low response time of 0.2ms and a high refresh rate of 240Hz, gameplay will feel pleasant and will be ready for competitive gaming.
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 is built with an exquisitely crafted CNC-milled aluminum enclosure to provide durability while keeping the overall laptop thin and lightweight. Weighing just 4.08 lbs and measuring 0.59" - 0.65" in thickness, the laptop is easy to keep inside the backpack and can be carried anywhere without hassles.
Users will have the option to choose either 16 GB or 32 GB LPDDR5X 7500 MHz memory and storage options between 1TB and 2TB PCI-E 4.0 SSD. Both models offer identical connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth v5.3 for wireless connections. There are multiple high-bandwidth USB ports on the sides, 1x HDMI 2.0 port, 1x SD card reader, and an audio jack.
The laptops will be powered with a decent 90Wh battery for longer operation and both models are currently up for sale on ASUS Store and Best Buy.
