The story of Allie and Noah lives on. lined notebook
Broadway’s newest musical, “The Notebook” featuring music and lyrics from Ingrid Michaelson, just began previews at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 10.
Starring Joy Woods and Ryan Vasquez in the lead roles, the pair will inhabit the parts that made Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling household names after the release of the 2004 film.
However, this new iteration of the classic tale will shake things up.
“This is a fresh, new retelling of the classic story we all know and love,” Woods explained on Instagram.
“It is a story about what happens when two people that love each other choose each other over and over again, and what can happen through all the obstacles that life brings.”
And if you want to see them fall in love all over again, you can grab your tickets to see “The Notebook” on Broadway as soon as today.

He’s been in a number of Broadway productions including “The Mighty Gents,” “Don’t Call Back” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Harewood has also done quite a bit of TV and film work. Notable projects include “Full Metal Jacket,” “Gothika” and “Bel-Air.”
