AmeraMex International wins new contract, announces delivery of the first of six new reach stackers intended for the US government. Reach Stacker
AmeraMex International, a California-based heavy equipment dealer, announced that it was awarded equipment orders totalling approximately US$600,000.
According to AmeraMex president Brian Hamre, the orders are expected to be shipped by the end of the second quarter.
The equipment order consisted of a refurbished Taylor Loaded Container Handler, two new LiuGong 5,000-pound capacity Forklifts, as well as a refurbished Taylor TE520, 52,000-pound capacity forklift.
The delivery will also include one refurbished Hyster H450 Empty Container Handler, one refurbished Hyster H400 Empty Container Handler, and one refurbished Taylor TE360 Forklift.
The company also revealed that it delivered the first of six new reach stackers to the U.S. government. These reach stackers are valued at US$900,000 each.
AmeraMex International sells, leases, and rents new and refurbished heavy equipment to companies within multiple industries including construction, logistics, mining, and lumber.
It has agreements with US-based ASV to market its line of new mastication equipment; with Taylor Machine Works to market its line of new heavy-duty forklifts and empty/loaded container handlers; Magni Telescopic to market its telescopic material handlers; and First Green Industries to market the company’s line of electric skid steer loaders.
AmeraMex reported revenue for the first quarter of 2024 of approximately US$3.3 million, a 3% increase year-on-year. However, the quarter ended in a net loss of US$436,343 compared to net income of US$101,103 for the comparable quarter in 2023.
