The new Ford Bronco SUV is a hot commodity and ARIES offers owners a range of upgrades to make the SUV even better. ARIES, a Lippert brand, was immediately on task when the all-new Bronco debuted in 2021, and it continues to roll out products that make the Bronco function better on- and off-road. fat utv lights

Recently, we put the spotlight on four ARIES products for the Bronco. This time around, we dig into the company’s ActionTrac Powered Running Boards, ForeFront Bull Bar, 10-inch Single-Row LED Light Bar, and Tubular-Style Fender Flares.

The ActionTrac Powered Running Boards are available for two- and four-door Broncos. When a door opens, the control module deploys a 3-inch-wide power step, offering an 8-inch drop from the 4-inch wide top step. This can provide up to 15 inches of clearance from the doorsill, depending on the vehicle. These features make ActionTrac running boards ideal for lifted Broncos, offering safer entry and exit for passengers. They have a main housing with a non-skid top surface, and they contour to the Bronco’s rocker panels. ARIES says the ActionTrac running boards are engineered for off-roading, though they’re not a substitute for rocker bars. They’re constructed with extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, which makes them lightweight, non-corrosive, and durable. A carbide black powdercoat finish maximizes corrosion resistance. The contoured design provides extra protection for vehicle sides from small rocks and debris.

These retractable running boards operate with a single rotary motor, ensuring quiet, reliable, and maintenance-free operation. The motor, pivot points, and electrical components are shielded within the main housing, protecting them from the elements. The step-within-a-step design of the ActionTrac is patented, and the boards boast a control module for safe & smooth automated operation. The control module detects obstructions during operation, eliminating pinch hazards and preventing damage on trails. There’s a two-second delay to avoid quick retraction after door closure. They feature no-splice wiring and no-drill bracket installation, and are constructed with weather-resistant, powdercoated aluminum. Additionally, the boards have LED lights that illuminate the steps when open.

Installation of the ActionTrac running boards is said to be easy. They’re designed for vehicle-specific applications, include mounting brackets, and mount using existing holes, so no drilling is required. The ActionTrac running boards and brackets can also be purchased separately for both two- and four-door Broncos.

The Bronco-specific ForeFront Bull Bar boasts a host of features. It’s crafted from carbon steel and offers front-end protection and longevity. It has a sleek, tight design that complements the Bronco’s lines. It’s a single, fully welded piece with a four-point frame mount system that ensures stability as well as strength.

But there’s more to the ForeFront Bull Bar than just looks and protection. The bar includes built-in mounts for aftermarket LED lights, and it’ll accept up to a 30-inch LED lightbar. Additionally, it has integrated towhooks and it’s finished with an E-coat and semi-gloss black powdercoating. The latter two items provide superior resistance to corrosion.

ARIES 10-Inch Single-Row LED Light Bar is made from waterproof aluminum, has a crack-resistant Lexan lens, and grade-A LED chips. The lightbar delivers a powerful 4,900-lumen combo beam pattern and has an advanced optics system that results in 96 percent reflector efficiency. Furthermore, the LEDs boast a lifespan of over 50,000 hours. The lightbar features IP68 and IP69K waterproof and dustproof ratings to keep water and air out. Additionally, it has undergone rigorous testing and obtained numerous certifications, underscoring its reliability. Finally, it has dual oversize heat sinks to maintain low operating temperatures.

This 10-inch lightbar is suitable for installation on bull bars, grille guards, headache racks, or other compatible products. The kit includes a waterproof wiring harness and stainless steel hardware. These components ensure a secure and lasting fitment, thus minimizing maintenance requirements.

It’s worth noting that ARIES also offers LED lightbars in 20-, 30-, and 50-inch versions. These lights produce 9,800, 14,800, and 24,000 lumens, respectively. All share the same IP ratings, housing construction, and 96 percent-efficient optics system.

At 5 inches in width, ARIES Tubular-Style Fender Flares are extra wide to protect the Bronco’s body and paint from mud and trail debris. Plus, they allow for better clearance and articulation for oversized tires. Additionally, ARIES says they make your Bronco’s suspension more visible, which gives it a unique, rugged look that stands out.

ARIES tubular-style fender flares are built for trail use and made from hardened T6 aluminum. They’re finished with a corrosion-resistant and scratch-resistant black carbide powdercoat textured finish. Installation is said to be easy since they bolt on using factory holes and no body modifications are necessary. When installed, the flares smoothly follow the Bronco’s body and wheel wells. The kit comes with all necessary bolts and hardware.

The flares are sold in pairs. The front flares are the same for both two- and four-door Broncos. The rear flares are specific to either two- or four-door models.
