Lyons No Longer Making Pyramid Tea Bags Ctc Tea Packaging

Lyons is ditching its pyramid teabag design.

The tea giant says it has adapted the shape to provide the "best-ever" flavour.

The move from pyramid to square is being made to 'improve quality' as well as for eco-friendly reasons, as less packaging is needed from 'field to shelf'.

Lyons says the new square teabag design is a plant-based bag, and as with the old pyramid design, the tea bags are biodegradable and fully compostable.

On a social media post, Lyons shared the news about the new square design with tea fans.

"We couldn’t be more excited, and so we redecorated our kitchen wall to celebrate. It just feels so ‘us’ now".
