Direct Metals supplies galvanized metal grating for Tinley Creek forest preserve project

Direct Metals, an international steel service center with locations in Kennesaw, Ga., and Waukegan, Ill., recently supplied 56 pieces of 2-1/2- by 3/16-in. 7P4 press-locked galvanized steel grating as part of the site improvement plans for Tinley Creek Forest Preserve in Cook County, Ill.

The galvanized metal grating meets ADA requirements and is being used as steel flooring in the construction of the pedestrian bridge located in the Killdeer Wetlands, just outside of Chicago. Steel Walkways
