Ikan has announced the Canvas, a full-color bendable LED panel with tuneable RGBWA color control. Almost every light being released these days is RGBW/RGBWW/RGBAW, but flexible panel lights have been a little slower getting to the party.
The Ikan Canvas offers full RGB color control and it is Kelvin color temperature adjustable from 2800-10,000K. The Canvas is compact and lightweight and it only draws 24W of power. Led Module Replacement
The light has physical dimensions of 20 x 10 x .5″ (50.8 x 25.4 x 1.27cm). So it isn’t quite the size of a traditional 2×1 panel.
Ikan’s Canvas Full Color Bendable LED Panel Light has a claimed CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 96, and the company says that the Canvas light provides high color fidelity with a consistent brightness between 10-100%.
The light has a Kelvin color temperature range of 2800K-6500K in CCT mode, while in the RGB mode you have access to HSI, manual RGB controls, gels, and special FX.
The panel light has a wide beam angle of 120-degrees. It uses a patent pending X-holder mount design that allows for quick setups. It also comes with a 5/8″ pin mount so you can tilt the light into any position you want.
The Controller box with ae 6′ extension cable and a built-in v-mount battery plate for running the light remotely when mains power isn’t available. Ikan claims that the fixture is equivalent to 300 watts of soft light. As I mentioned earlier it only draws 24W of power.
The light also includes a softbox and egg crate.
The Ikan Canvas full-color bendable LED panel with tuneable RGBWA color control retails for $489.99 USD and it is available to pre-order.
