Well suited for homes with a high demand for hot water, the 540P tankless model integrates a recirculation pump to provide instant hot water in residential applications with dedicated recirculation lines. Along with the recirculation pump, the 540P has an aquastat to govern water temperature and pump control built inside, which simplifies installation for A.O. Smith contractors.
The onboard computer modulates combustion to yield an Energy Factor of 0.95 while meeting strict gas emissions standards. As part of the 199k BTU-per-hour condensing tankless family, the environmentally friendly 540P provides instant hot water.
