That change was to make room for all of the toys they have in stock!
Instead of the back corner, the toy section is now in the very front of the store, so you can’t miss it, and neither can your little ones!
“We’ve added new product toys. We have tons of books. We have it laid out so dress-up clothes are with the toys now. We have infant toys. We have cars, trucks, doll accessories and the list goes on and on,” General Manager, Sara O’Bannon, said.
If you have toys at home that are just gathering dust, you can clean them up and sell them to Kid to Kid!
“We always check batteries for corrosion, so we ask that you make sure that the items do work when you bring them in. We also ask that they are freshly wiped down,” O’Bannon said. “Have your sets together. If it is a game of some sort, look for all of the pieces and the instructions so we can help the next family know what to do.”
There are certain toys that sell more quickly than others.
“The boy toys like the action figures, cars, and trucks, and then all of the girls’ doll accessories and doll strollers. Those are premium items that come and go quickly, so that’s always something that we’re looking to buy,” O’Bannon said.
The price point is a big reason why people shop Kid to Kid.
“Our book start at 99 cents. Most books you buy elsewhere can cost you 15 to 20 dollars. Plus, we sell the sets together,” O’Bannon explained. “You can get things that you wouldn’t typically get at Walmart or Target, right? You may have just one piece and it’s 30 or 40 dollars. Here, we may have that as a premium set. So we get things in like say Peppa Pig for instance. We’re going to have the car, the house, and all of the accessories with it and you get a much cheaper price because you’re getting everything together and it’s just that one price.”
You can shop Kid to Kid Monday through Saturday from 9am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
