Wine Climate Cabinets by Asko among products on Dezeen Showroom

Swedish brand Asko has released a collection of four wine cabinets that present a contemporary version of traditional wine cellars, which aim to keep bottles of wine in an optimal environment.

Wine Climate Cabinets come in full-height and under-counter variations, united by their sleek black appearance.

The cabinets were recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside functionalistic outdoor furniture made from metal and wood and a modular seating system that has a base made from repurposed cork.

Vineyard collection by Ramón Esteve for Vondom

Teak wood, lacquered aluminium and heavy-duty castor wheels give a utilitarian edge to this collection of outdoor furniture by architect Ramón Esteve for furniture brand Vondom.

The Vineyard collection includes both soft and hard seating as well as coffee and dining tables, united by their functional and minimal aesthetics.

Platform seating by David Karásek and Michael Tomalik for Mmcité

Czech brand Mmcité worked with designers David Karásek and Michael Tomalik on a duo of seating platforms for urban environments.

Platform seating comes in either a square or rectangular format and can be combined with built-in planters.

Patternmaker fabric collection by Camira

British textile brand Camira worked with textile artist Kate Lawrie on a range of upholstery materials defined by their blue and brown colour palettes.

Various prints are contained in the Patternmaker fabric collection, all of which have a painted-on effect and can be used for a variety of purposes.

Tejo seating by Paul Crofts for Isomi

Furniture brand Isomi and designer Paul Crofts worked together to create a modular seating system characterised by a chunky base made from cork.

Tejo seating comprises straight and curved modules that can be further customised by specifying add-ons such as power outlets or planter segments.

Bastille Lounge seating by Patrick Norgeut for Allermuir

French designer Patrick Norgeut designed a collection of seating for furniture brand Allermuir that is made up of simplistic, curving forms.

Bastille Lounge seating includes two- and three-seater sofas as well as a club chair, all of which feature back and armrests formed from a single upholstered curvilinear structure.

A soft leather- or fabric-upholstered seat is cradled by an oak frame in this lounge chair designed for furniture brand Allermuir by designer Simon Pengelly.

The Uku lounge chair's rounded, tactile frame comes in either black-stained or natural oak.

Gather outdoor seating by Foster + Partners for Escofet

Spanish street furniture brand Escofet collaborated with architecture firm Foster + Partners on a modular seating system made from the brand's own "Slimconcrete" material.

Gather can be used to create single benches, semi-enclosed nooks or long, continuous lengths of seating, encouraging people to make use of outdoor public spaces.

Workplace furniture brand Narbutas has released a collection of height-adjustable desks that allow users to work comfortably throughout office areas.

Q-Active sit-stand desks come in a choice of six widths and can be assembled in under 10 minutes, according to the brand.

A hinged tabletop defines Italian brand Ibebi's Tam Tam folding table, which can be folded up and stored when not in use.

The tables also feature castors at the end of each leg, which allow them to be moved and reconfigured both when in use and when in storage.

A polished black surface and an illuminated face characterise this contemporary clock created by British art and design studio Ben Rousseau.

Tempus Obsidian timepieces have a sleek appearance informed by dark-coloured obsidian stone, and aim to encourage the viewer to consider the passage of time.

Furniture company Allermuir collaborated with designer Samuel Wilkinson on a solid oak chair that has a simplistic form that celebrates the natural grain of the wood.

The Yõso armchair has a distinctive composition that sees the armrests sitting directly below the backrest, and comes in a choice of black-stained or natural timber finishes.

Furniture maker Morgan has released a chair created by designer Magnus Long that combines a solid wood frame with a cane backrest panel.

The Barricane chair comes in a choice of two versions – one with arms and one without – and a range of wood species can be specified to create the frame.

Office furniture company Senator collaborated with British design studio Pearson Lloyd to release a task chair that adapts to the requirements of various users throughout the course of a working day.

Contour task chairs have a thick cushioned seat and a backrest crafted from one continuous piece of plastic, with each element able to be repaired or replaced and recycled.
