A Seattle logistics company lays off one-third of its employees | The Epoch Times

It was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Seattle's SODO community.It will be valued at $1 billion in 2022.Its customers include hardware retail chain Ace Hardware, office supply company Staples and Walmart.

This is Flexe's second layoff in 14 months.The first time was in July 2022, when an unknown number of employees in the recruitment department were laid off.

Other logistics companies such as Knight-Swift Transportation and Flexport have also cut jobs this year.North American logistics giant Yellow Corp. also filed for bankruptcy in August this year.

According to the Supply Chain Drive website, "The economic situation has changed and logistics providers are now facing a weaker freight market and they are looking to cut costs."
