Anchored in mechanisms only possible through robotics, a machine capable of performing all agricultural fence installation operations just had its patent letter issued by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). Created at the Center for Agricultural Sciences (CCA) of the Federal University of Ceará, the invention was motivated by the search for solutions to the problem of labor shortages in the countryside.

At the moment, the machine has only one digital prototype, that is, it was simulated in a virtual environment. But, according to the inventor, as soon as manufactured, the equipment will have demand in the market. “If there is the product, it will have certain sales,” he says. The reason for this optimism, points out the teacher, is that the idea of ​​the machine came after conversations with large ranchers from the North and Midwest, that is, it has already started from a need for entrepreneurs.

The invention, which is the 27th of the university to receive the patent letter, is the subject of this week's UFC agency,, the university's scientific dissemination and innovation platform.
