ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A national franchise brand specializing in drywall and ceiling repair has expanded its footprint in the Lehigh Valley and Berks County.
The Patch Boys, a service provider dedicated to providing excellent drywall repairs for homeowners and businesses across the country, recently opened its 11th Pennsylvania location – The Patch Boys of Lehigh Valley/Reading – in Allentown, according to a news release.
The drywall and ceiling repair specialist is backed by BELFOR Franchise Group, a Michigan-based brand management company that backs 13 different franchises and works with thousands of franchisees across the country.
In addition to expert drywall and ceiling repair, The Patch Boys offers plaster repair, drywall installation, popcorn ceiling removal and texture matching services.
The new location, which opened in September, serves the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Reading, along with surrounding municipalities such as Birdsboro, Fleetwood, Kutztown, Topton, Emmaus, Macungie, Catasauqua, Nazareth and Whitehall Township.
It is owned and operated by husband and wife Sean and Gina Fitzsimmons.
Sean has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry in senior management and has run a successful non-medical home care business for the past five years. Gina is a family practice physician.
In their free time, the Fitzsimmons enjoy spending time with family and walking their two dogs.
“Over the past five years of providing home care services, I have gained invaluable insight into the pride people take in their homes, and how hard it is for them to find good contractors for home improvement work,” Sean said.
“This realization, combined with my prior experience and knowledge of the construction industry, inspired me to go into business with a trusted name in home repair. After weighing my options, I decided to franchise with The Patch Boys due to their great business model and ability to fill a specialized, underserved gap in the industry. As we continue to offer our services and establish relationships with local homeowners, we look forward to becoming local drywall and ceiling repair experts that customers can rely on.”
While larger repair and construction companies tend to prioritize large repair jobs, The Patch Boys has been specializing in small drywall and ceiling repair jobs for more than a decade.
Because of this focus, The Patch Boys has been able to fine-tune its process to ensure “top-quality, seamless results” every time, the release states.
