KSB Group has introduced 12 new sizes to its RDLO pump type series in response to the growing demand for larger water transport systems and increased volume flow rate.
These new pumps allow for expanded flow rates of up to 20,000m 3 per hour at heads of up to 300m. High Quality Textile Bearing
The pump sets are axially split volute casing pumps and used in pumping stations around the world for clean water transport.
A casing with double volute compensating radial forces and a double-entry impeller compensating axial forces offer a long service life.
The large rolling element bearings are subject to a minimum load only, which ensures low energy costs.
The solid bearing brackets bolted to the upper part of the casing and a rigid shaft provide a low-vibration operation. As a result, the loads on the rolling element bearings, the mechanical seals and the coupling between pump and motor are substantially decreased.
Ease of service was fundamental to the design of this series, with the self-centring upper part of the casing and the spring-loaded rotor enabling cover and rotor mounting without any further adjustments.
RDLO pumps are also capable of transporting seawater. Duplex steels as well as standard materials such as grey and nodular cast iron are used for seawater applications.
