VanillaGift is back with another promotion waiving purchase fees on Vanilla Visa gift cards. This time you can use promo code VGDADS24 to save 100% on those fees.

Saving 100% on purchase fees is always a nice opportunity, but there’s a couple of things to be cautious of. One is that some retailers don’t seem to like Vanilla Visa gift cards, so before stocking up on a ton of these, make sure your liquidation options will work.

The second thing to be aware of is that it’s best not to buy these with Amex cards. Not only will you not earn points on the purchase (as far as I’m aware), but purchases in the past have coded as cash advances which means you’ll incur fees with American Express.

11$ for shipping. I get a 2% arbitrage from instore purchases so in theory this would be really nice if you buy a couple but Im sure buying 10k worth of this would trigger some kind of fraud alert?

is there a reason to buy these other than meeting some spend bonus?

Is anybody offering cashback on that site or is the purchase coded as some sort of “business supplies store” for extra points earn?
