BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR)– The Town of Blacksburg says the cleanup work has been completed and the road has reopened.
BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR)– The Town of Blacksburg says crews are currently cleaning up a hydraulic oil leak on South Main St.
According to Blacksburg’s X account, the oil leak was caused by privately owned equipment on South Main St. Crews from VDOT and the town are currently on the scene.
The town says there is no danger to the local area.
One lane on South Main St is shut down from Hubbard St. to the Rt. 460 tunnel, and will remain closed until the work is complete. When traveling through the area, the town cautions drivers to drive carefully.
