Yeston & Zeaginal Sakura 360 CPU AIO Review - Yeston & Zeaginal Sakura 360 CPU AIO Review

Yeston has partnered with Zeaginal to make the "Sakura" themed CPU AIO water coolers, and up for review today is their 360mm version which comes with three 120mm ARGB fans with PWM control. The water block has a solid copper base with 90 micro channels for cooling, and a built-in pump; an ABS cover hides all of this, with a two-way mirror that shows a "Bride Sakura" image when powered on. The stock art shows that the image could be the right way up with the pipes either on the left or the right of the water block. In this review the right way up is with the pipes on the right of the block, I recommend you test yours ahead of time to verify before installation. Without jumping too far ahead I want to mention that the image cannot be rotated.

Yeston is known for having fun designs with unique colors that you don’t often see from other companies! You can buy the Yeston & Zeaginal Sakura 360 CPU water cooling AIO straight from the Yeston Mall and Yeston Store websites, AliExpress, and other sellers for around $109.00 USD! Yeston Store has a coupon code 8J6Z4TGDJWMG for $10 off as well. Trash Pump

The box art of the Yeston & Zeaginal Sakura 360 AIO reminds me of gaming products from a past time which often had female characters on them. The color scheme on the front of the box is reflected on the product itself. The back of the box has specifications of both the fans and cooler itself, while the bottom half has warranty information and warnings. Upon opening the box, we are greeted by the cooler immediately, along with an additional box containing the accessories which include: hardware for mounting to the most common Intel and AMD systems, an unlabeled syringe of thermal paste and a spudger tool, and a user manual in both English and Chinese.

The cooler comes with the fans preinstalled, although you may need to move them to fit your system as required. The EPDM hoses are long enough that the AIOP should work in almost any case. The fan hubs have reflective stickers with a cherry blossom (aka sakura) logo on them, and both the fans and block largely feature light blue elements with clear regions for the RGB lighting. The water block has a two-way mirror that hides the image underneath until the system is turned on. The base is fairly flat, although there is some minor texturing it likely wont affect performance much (if at all).

Installation is simple, although I am not a fan of their retention design – you insert threaded pegs that match your CPU platform onto a universal backplate, and add plastic washers that help hold them in place. After you finish that step, you insert the assembly through the back of the motherboard, and install more washers that seem to barely help hold onto everything. I recommend keeping a hand behind each peg as you start tightening the spring-nut. I found that having the coolant hoses exit the left of my water block gave me the cleanest looking installation, but the Sakura image ended up upside down in this orientation! You can’t rotate the image by design, as modifying the block would most certainly void the warranty, so I strongly recommend testing the block before installation if possible.

We used an Intel i9-13900K for testing at 5.7 GHz for the P-Cores and 1.3V Vcore, and 4.3GHz for the E-cores. This should generate enough heat to test how well the cooler can manage CPU temperatures at load. Temperatures are recorded at their peak and valley plateaus to prevent issues such as thermal runaway, heat soaking, and other thermal oddities.

Idle performance is decent, although a few degrees higher than some of the other AIOs we’ve looked at. Load performance in the stress testing similarly wasn’t the best, but it isn’t bad either when you consider the ~300W CPU heat load, with average frequencies around 5.4GHz on the P-Cores and average 1.286V. The fans also are quieter and lower RPM, so even at full speed they won’t move a ton of air. The fan design lets a lot of air leak out between the fans/radiator: a fan gasket, shroud, decoupler, or other adapter would help greatly increase airflow through the radiator by sealing up the gaps, or (less-ideally) you could swap the fans out for square-caged fans with more pressure capability if you wanted more performance. I would recommend trying fan gaskets; three 120mm gaskets should fill the gaps pretty good. The included thermal paste seems adequate and is a nice touch for such an affordable cooler, with enough for at least a few applications. I am sure using a good high-quality thermal paste would shave a few degrees off at minimum. Gaming performance in Helldivers 2 and other taxing games delivered average temperatures in the mid 60ºC to mid-70ºC range, maxing out at 79ºC which is perfectly acceptable.

The Yeston & Zeaginal Sakura 360 CPU AIO performs well, operates very quietly, the RGB worked great, and the mirror effect on the CPU block is entertaining. I wish the art was easily rotated. I have a feeling that if I was careful to pry the mirror off I could rotate or remove the Sakura art all together, but doing so would likely void any warranties! The stock images on the Yeston website shows the art being right-side-up with the coolant tubes on the left and the right, so it is hard to say which way to mount the block without powering it up first. The Yeston & Zeaginal Sakura 360 CPU AIO is very affordable. You can get it directly from the Yeston Mall website for $109.00 USD, but better yet at the Yeston Store using coupon code 8J6Z4TGDJWMG you can get an additional $10 off. At both websites you can find more Sakura-themed products including both AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards, memory through a partnership with Corsair, keyboards, mouse pads, and case fans. The cooler and other Yeston products are also available from marketplaces like AliExpress for as low as $99.90.
