Big news for St. Pete Beach. The beloved Hotel Zamora (3701 Gulf Blvd) has just unveiled a brand-new look after a $7.5 million renovation, elevating it to a 4-star luxury spot on the Gulf Coast. But that’s not all—alongside the upgraded hotel, Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar has officially debuted, replacing the former Castille restaurant and bringing fresh flavor to the area. hotel wooden furniture
The overhaul, led by national developer Sherman Associates, includes a complete refresh of the hotel’s 64 guest rooms and suites. These spacious rooms boast Mediterranean-inspired decor, spa-like showers, and high-end air purification systems. Some rooms even feature vitamin C-infused showers for that extra touch of luxury. We are ready for a Spring Break escape.
The rooftop got a significant facelift, offering sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico, downtown St. Pete, and the Intracoastal Waterway. Plus, the pool area, gym, and outdoor spaces are more inviting than ever for vacationers and business travelers.
“We wanted to honor the Hotel Zamora’s history while bringing in modern touches that define comfort and luxury,” said George Sherman, CEO of Sherman Associates. “This project is about more than just the hotel—enhancing the area’s charm and supporting local growth.”
Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar is the place to be for those looking to dine with a view. The new spot serves up coastal-inspired cuisine, with dishes influenced by Mediterranean flavors from Italy, Greece, and Spain. Enjoy indoor or outdoor seating on the terrace, or grab a drink at Azura’s rooftop lounge, where the sunsets are as good as the cocktails.
Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Reservations can be made through Open Table. The Azura Rooftop is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
