Van Bowling announced he is seeking a seat on the Petit Jean Electric Board of Directors, District 2 Position 1.
“Many of you know me from my 40 years of employment with Petit Jean Electric. My career with the company began in 1977 in the Right-a-Way Department before transitioning into the Line Program,” he said. “In this position, I worked very hard to create a pathway towards advancement opportunities, and fortunately, I was promoted to Lead Lineman. After holding that position for many years, I was offered another chance to advance as a Line Crew Foreman and served in that position until I had the opportunity to retire as Operations Supervisor in 2017.
