For years, Alweco has been supplying and installing accordion and folding screen systems throughout the world.
Due to the increased demand for their insect screen systems, they have expanded their range with frameless windows. Ramon Bol of Alweco: "We have designed a sleek, easy-to-install, and innovative window profile. It is clamped around the ventilation window to which we attach our insect screen system." To simplify the installation, the company works with complete prefab guiding system sets.
In addition to this option, Alweco has also implemented several improvements regarding the guidance and attachment of the existing folding systems. Ramon: "After all, commercial horticulture often involves large volumes, so we want a system that is uniform, quick to install, and cost-effective."
Thanks to Red Harvest, they know this system works well. At their location, they were allowed to test the frameless system in practice. Ramon: "That's amazing. Once again, thank you for facilitating Red Harvest."
Alweco offers various mesh sizes, and matching screen types are available with UV resistance up to 1350 KLy.
According to Ramon, screen systems are easy and quick to install, easy to clean, and do not require ventilation readjustment. "Furthermore, there is a very low pressure on the ventilation mechanism, and when the vent window is partially open, there is a high air exchange rate. Moreover, screen systems are easy to replace while retaining the fixings and guides, and the systems apply to any greenhouse roof." Ever since last December, the company delivered a new screening system in the greenhouse of Brazander in Bleiswijk, which is the first project with this new technology.
