PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Route 1 was closed after a tractor-trailer truck went off the road yesterday.
The fully loaded tractor-trailer truck was traveling southbound between Presque Isle and Caribou when it slid off the road. No one was injured and the truck was not damaged. A tow truck was called. While the tow truck was pulling the tractor-trailer back onto the road, the tractor-trailer truck hit a telephone. Two more tow trucks were called. Caribou PD redirected traffic for 3 to 4 hours until the scene was cleared. Versant was also called to the scene. 12x7 Tipping Trailer
