City of Palm Bay to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Disc Golf Course on June 21 - Space Coast Daily

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The City of Palm Bay will host a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Palm Bay Disc Golf Course on June 21 beginning at 9 a.m.

The new course is located at 673 Krassner Dr. NW, in Palm Bay.

The new disc golf course is situated on 25 acres of land positioned south of Krassner Drive and Boxthorn Ave NW, just to the east of Fred Poppe Regional Park.

Parking and the course entrance are located inside Fred Poppe Regional Park at 325 Championship Circle NW.

The disc golf course features an 18-hole layout with 2 pins and 2 tee pads for each hole. It is designed to challenge different skill levels of players based on the layout combination played.

A red tee (short) and a blue tee (long) can be played by targeting an orange pin (short) and/or a yellow pin (long) to make up 4 possible different layouts to be played.

The course plays 9 holes in and back out for both the front nine and the back nine, providing an opportunity to play just 9 holes if time is an issue.

For more information, please call the Palm Bay Parks & Facilities Department at (321) 726-2777.
