A Permanent Account Number (PAN) serves as proof of identity to file income tax returns for the citizens of India.PAN facilities high-value transactions or cash deposits in India. The government can regulate transactions within the country. It is issued by the Income Tax department of India. As it acts as identity proof, applicants should be careful with the data provided, which needs to be accurate. Women in India might face a problem as their surname changes after marriage. Step 1:You need to visit the https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/changerequest.html website to initiate changes in your PAN Card. tray form tap changer
Step 2:Fill in the application form with the required details and submit it online.
Step 3:Select the only cell that is in front of your name and mention your PAN in the form
Step 4:Now Tap on the 'Validate' option to cross-check the information provided in the form.
Step 5:Once confirmed, click on the “Submit” button.
Step 6:Next, make a payment of Rs.110 for a contact address within India and Rs 1,020 for a contact address outside India for processing your request through net banking, debit/credit card, cash card, etc.
Step 7:Once the payment is done, download the PAN application form and get a hard copy through a printout.
Step 8:Paste two passport-sized photographs on the form and sign across it.
Step 9:Attach required document proofs (self-attested) with the application form.
Step 10:If you have applied for NSDL, send the application to NSDL via post.
Step 11:If you have applied to UTIITSL if the form was filled out in the UTIITSL portal.
Step 12:You can track your status by providing the application reference number of the PAN application.The required documents needed for applying to change their name to PAN for Married Women: Marriage Certificate or Marriage Invitation Card Publication of the name change in the official gazette. Copy of passport showing husband's name. A certificate from the Gazette office for the change in the applicants' names.
