During a ministry visit to the Philippines, Relief Society General President Camille N. Johnson and Primary General President Susan H. Porter officially unveiled a Giving Machine at Ayala Center Cebu in Cebu City on Thursday, Nov. 16.
The location is one of 61 around the world for the Light the World Giving Machines during the 2023 Christmas season — in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. Plastic Recycling Equipment
The red vending machines allow people to buy something for someone else in need through partnering local, national and international charity organizations, with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints covering all operating costs.
This year, people can donate online at GivingMachine.org. Mobile machines will stay in some cities for a few days while others will remain in the same location the whole season.
