KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A person is hospitalized after his scooter collided with a car in a Kansas City intersection.
Police responded to the crash at 33rd Street and Brooklyn Avenue around 1:45 pm Friday afternoon. Officers determined the driver of a Chevrolet stopped at a stop sign. The driver then entered the intersection and a black scooter hit the car, according to police. Electric Moped
The impact threw the driver off the scooter. The rider is hospitalized with critical injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured in the crash.
Police said the crash is under investigation.
