After a long day at work, almost nothing is better than laying our heads on our favorite pillows and falling into dreamland. But the key to this coziness is that pillow, the one we've deemed ours, and sleep isn't the same without it. A sweet Boxer can relate to this, too.
On November 10, 2024, TikTok user Princess Poppy (@princess.poppyyy) shared a video of the beautiful Boxer who found a cozy new pillow and refused to move. However, her new favorite pillow just happened to be the Christmas tree skirt. Fluffy Stocking

As her mom gets closer and asks Princess Poppy why she's under the tree, Princess Poppy's eye rolls are hilarious. Poppy refuses to move when her mom tells her it's not a bed, but the place the sweet dog has chosen, and she won't give it up without a fight.
You can't really blame her either because that tree skirt looks cozy. It's fluffy and white, and lying on it, you'd be surrounded by the incredibly decorated tree and all of its beautiful lights.
In the comment section, people were on team Poppy and thought she could sleep there if she wanted to. One person wrote, "That’s an absolutely appropriate bed," while another joked, "As Poppy’s attorney, I have a [judgment] from the court that states that it is, in fact, Poppy’s bed." Another viewer shared, "Poppy says I’m not messing with your decorations; I’m just lying down."
There is so much magic in the air this time of year, and everyone is typically very busy with friends and family, decorating, and cooking. But there are some safety reminders dog parents should be aware of as all this hustle and bustle goes on.
According to the American Kennel Club, several risk areas during the holiday season can potentially pose a safety issue for pups, including deliveries, decorations, food, and more.
Regarding deliveries, which happen more often during this season since we often order items online for family and friends and hosting. And with all the deliveries, it can sometimes be an issue for dogs who love to be outside.
"Be sure your pets are microchipped. Dogs can slip out the door in a heartbeat and be gone," the club advises. "Alternately, keep an exercise pen set up at the door so you can open the door, but your pets can’t escape."
Another area that can be a safety concern is the Christmas tree and other decorations. If you have a large tree, tethering it to the "ceiling with a plant hood and a thin wire" can help secure it so your dog is less likely to be able to knock it down. Be aware of ornaments your dog can get ahold of, and consider using the "special, breakable ornaments at the tops of the tree or in storage."
Beige Christmas Stockings One thing's for sure: Princess Poppy seems perfectly content lying under the tree instead of getting into it. If she fits, she sits!
