I can't help but notice that The Pokémon Company didn't have much of an interest in getting Nintendo to make another limited-edition console/controller for Legends: Arceus.

There is literally no way possible pokemon has grossed more than Mickey Mouse since 1928.
@MostHandsieBoy ita confirmed that pokemon is bigger people have been going nuts over pokemon since 2016 thx to pokemon go the video games are tremendous the anime is doing extraordinarily well , live action films and the 25th anniversary all made pokemon the biggest media franchise in history

@Stormzstriker It doesn't even scratch the surface of Disney. It is ridiculous to think Pokemon is somehow made more money than Mickey and pals over the course of 98 years. With Disney's 300B USD market cap, parks, merc, films, streaming service etc. I mean...Mickey Mouse is the most known figure on the planet. You can ask a 3 year old in the Sub-Saharan bush who Mickey is and they can tell you.
Pika and pals are amazing money generators...just not on the same scale.
But gross is dumb anyway. Pokemon's relatievly unsuccessful movies are at 2B gross while Disney's - the most popular animated features by many country miles - is rather silly to compare.
Imagine comparing Snow White - which had lines around the theater for 2 years during Hollywood's golden age to Detective Pickachu with a straight face.

@MostHandsieBoy Mickey Mouse would've been bigger if it was more active now. Disney as a whole doesn't really do a lot with their mascot. Well, at least not in the 21st century. Sure there is still some merchandise and there are some shows. But overshadowed by popular Disney IPs. Like Star Wars and Frozen.
Where Pokémon is massively active with games, TV, movies, TCG, and a lot of merchandise.
