As part of its Deals of the Day, Best Buy is offering the Worx 4V ZipSnip Cordless Electric Scissors for $26.99 shipped. Usually fetching $45, this handy little device has seen occasional discounts over the last year, with the biggest dropping costs to $25 during 2023 Black Friday and Christmas sales. So far in the new year, we’ve seen a single previous one-day sale like this, where it fell to the $22 low back in January. Today’s deal still comes in as a solid $18 markdown that lands it at the third-lowest price we have tracked. The ZipSnip scissors come in weighing only 0.86 pounds and powered by a rechargeable 4V battery that spins the rotating (and self-sharpening) blade in order to cut through various materials up to 1/4-inch thick, including “tough plastic packaging, cardboard, fabric, rubber, leather, and wrapping paper.” Designed with multiple safety features like the safety switch that works in tandem with the trigger, as well as the blade guard, you’ll get far more precise cuts without unintentional movements or accidental slices. It will certainly lend more of a uniform cut to your gift-wrapping, for example, replacing the sectional and uneven cutting of manual scissors. Head below for more.
Another handy and motorized version of a classic tool is the Worx 4V 3-Speed Cordless Screwdriver for $35 over at Amazon. Weighing only 1.5 pounds, this device applies 300 RPM of no-load speed for a max hard torque of 44 inch-pounds and a max soft torque of 22 inch-pounds – all at the press of a button, making it useful in tighter spaces. You’ll get about 45 continuous minutes of use out of a single charge, though most people will likely use it in short bursts that drastically extends its actual battery life. It also comes with a carrying case and 12 drill bits. Rotor Impact Crusher
There’s also the more advanced Worx 4V SD Driver for $50. Upgraded with features to prevent annoying stops in your work, this device not only has jaws to hold the screws for positioning, but also drives them inward with no more effort than pressing a trigger. You also won’t have to worry about keeping track of bits either, as its onboard hexagonal revolving cartridge can hold up to 6 of any 1/4-inch hex-shaped bits for effortless switching as you need them (kind of like a revolving magazine on a pistol). Plus, the 4V battery can hold a charge for up to 18 months if not in continuous use.
