Stretch Film Machine Roll VIRGINIA WERSTLER, 89, OF BOYERTOWN Virginia (Benfield) Werstler, 89, of Boyertown, wife of the late Stanley R. Werstler, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 at Keystone Villa. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Edna (Davidheiser) Benfield. Virginia had a small farm with her husband where they raised cattle and grew vegetables. She also worked as a cloth cutter at Yocom Knitting Company in Stowe for 28 years before retiring. She enjoyed camping, playing Bingo, and taking trips to the casinos. Virginia especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving is her daughter Virginia Bealer, wife of Richard; two granddaughters Karen Laboy, wife of Wil, and Dr. Jennifer Bealer, and two great grandchildren Alexis and Kaylee Laboy. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Cynthia Werstler and her brother Ralph Benfield. A funeral service was held Wednesday Oct. 7, 2015 at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, with Pastor James Bertoti officiating.
