Latest additions to the ‘18V Power for All System’: Two new cordless LED lights from Bosch - Bosch Media Service

Bosch is expanding its ‘18V Power for All System’ with the addition of two new products: the EasySpotLight 18V-400 and UniversalWorkLight 18V-2100 cordless LED lights. Both lights are compact and versatile, making them suitable for a wide range of applications around the home and garden. The ‘18V Power for All System’ covers all representative tools in each segment, currently comprises about 70 DIY tools, gardening tools, and home appliances, and even extends beyond the Bosch range with additional partners in the cross-brand ‘Power for All Alliance.’ All tools – from rotary hammer to lawn mower and even vacuum cleaner – can be operated with the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves users space and money and protects the environment.

The EasySpotLight 18V-400 is suitable for DIY projects and leisure activities, as the light can be set to two different color temperatures – a unique feature in comparison with competitor models. The cool white light enables an optimum view of a work area, while the warm white light creates a pleasant atmosphere in a tent or on a terrace, for instance. In cool white light mode, the LED light provides a luminous flux of 400 lumens in the highest of the three brightness levels and shines for ten hours with a 2.0 Ah rechargeable battery. It weighs just 340 grams, and its footprint is barely larger than a postcard. The 18V battery serves as a stand. Alternatively, the lamp can be positioned flexibly using the integrated S-hook or magnets. The head can be folded 180 degrees and rotated 360 degrees, enabling illumination from any angle. A practical feature for users on the go is that the light also serves as a power bank to charge smartphones or other devices via the USB-C® output.

The UniversalWorkLight 18V-2100 is suitable for working in and around the home. At the highest of the three brightness levels, the cordless LED worklight has a luminous flux of 2,100 lumens. On this setting, the LEDs shine for 2:20 hours with a 2.0 Ah battery. Thanks to the metal hooks built into the handle, the battery-powered LED worklight can be hung on doors or windows to illuminate a room for tasks such as wallpapering and painting. The magnets in the handle also allow it to be attached to magnetic surfaces such as door frames, banisters, and radiators. The head can be adjusted to ten different settings on the base, which also serves as a handle, allowing flexible positioning, regardless of whether the light is standing, hanging, or magnetically attached to a surface. Weighing less than 0,5 kg, the UniversalWorkLight 18V-2100 is lightweight and significantly more compact than competitor products with comparable light intensity.

The EasySpotLight 18V-400 and UniversalWorkLight 18V-2100 cordless LED lights are available from April 2024 onwards. All prices are recommended retail prices and include VAT.
