During our tests, it produced a wonderfully large batch of nearly 24 cups of perfectly crunchy and popped popcorn. It has a sleek yet retro look that we love, from the long wooden handle that sports a crank, to the black-coated solid aluminum construction of the pot itself. The popper has a bucket-like base with an aluminum split top. The lid easily opens up on either side using the wooden handles, which gives you a little more control as you add the popcorn kernels or remove them after they’ve popped.

Otherwise, we’d wash it with warm soapy water and dry it before putting it away. As for storing it, we did find it was a bit bulky and hard to store, as it measures 11.6 by 8 by 16.6 inches, though it’s well worth finding room for movie-theater-quality batches at home.
