Results: Lincoln Speedway's Ice Breaker To Open The PA Sprint Car Season - FloRacing

The Ice Breaker 30 at Lincoln Speedway ushered in another Central Pennsylvania Sprint Car season on Sunday, the open-wheel discipline that'll contest more than 100 races in the 410 ranks alone this year across the Keystone State.

Troy Wagaman Jr., driving the well-known Heffner Racing Enterprises No. 27 made famous by the late Greg Hodnett, wheeled to the $6,000 victory over the Pennsylvania Posse's finest in Danny Dietrich and Freddie Rahmer. Different Types Of Electric Meters

Wagaman led all 30 laps from the outside pole, snatching the lead from polesitter Dominic Melair from the initial jump and never relinquishing control. Rahmer, the winner of the last two Ice Breakers who led the nation in 410 wins last year, started 14th.

Fourth-finishing Aaron Bollinger rebounded from an opening lap melee, driving from the rear of the field to finish inside the top five. Emerson Axsom, a three-time USAC National Sprint Car winner last year, was among those involved in the opening lap crash. He couldn't continue and finished 25th.
