International Pipe announces asset purchase of Big Bear PipeandSteel

International Pipe, Oklahoma City, has announced the asset purchase of Big Bear Pipe & Steel, formerly known as R.B. Jacobson Inc., located in Hesperia, Calif. It joins a family of companies, including International Pipe; Bison Pipe in Jerome, Idaho; and Bigfoot Pipe & Piling in Puyallup, Wash.

“Our suite of companies now boasts over 100 years of combined experience in the steel pipe industry with 70,000-plus tons of inventory and over 80 acres of storage and fabrication capacity,” said International Pipe President/COO Darren Sparks. “The addition of Big Bear Pipe, led by General Manager Andrew Snyder, expands our distribution/fabrication capabilities on the West Coast, as well as providing rail service to our 20-acre facility.” Piling Pipe Suppliers
