If you're a fan of blow-up decorations, then you should definitely head to Melton Drive in Wilmington. Blow ups of every shape and size line both sides of the driveway that leads to their home. Some are of your favorite Christmas characters, such as the Grinch that greets you at the entrance or the cutouts of Cousin Eddie and others from the "Christmas Vacation" movie. To top it off there is a giant Christmas tree at the end of the driveway that you'll love to see.

If you’re looking for a soundtrack to go with your light shows, check out this home off 3220 Kirby Smith Drive in Wilmington. Also known as Woodberry Lights, you can tune into 101.1 to hear the Wulfs' Christmas show with sound. The show runs daily from 5:30-10 p.m. weather permitting.

The Hawkswater neighborhood has a variety of Christmas decorations to see and enjoy via more than a dozen homes. There is a giant Tyrannosaurus rex with Santa riding his back just as you enter the neighborhood. That has to be one of my favorites in neighborhood.
Still not satisfied, then head on over to Windward Oaks off Masonboro Loop Road and take a walk down Candy Cane Lane on Finian Drive. Over a dozen homes along the roadway are decorated for the Holiday season including families of snowmen, Santa's workshop and manger scenes.
This spot in southern New Hanover County remains a bright one in the neighborhood with more than 30,000 lights synchronized to more than 100 channels.
According to its Facebook page for the Christmas Lite 89.1 holiday display, some new features this season include misfit toys and gnomes.
Sue Todd has transformed her home into a Winter Wonderland filled with lights, inflatables, animated figures, and even a snow machine. Folks are invited to stop by and enjoy walking through the paths of lights. There are even places to stop and take photos.
The trails lead into Todd's backyard where she has an outdoor screen showing Christmas and Disney movies, and folks are invited to sit a spell and enjoy the show.
