HDA Truck Pride said it introduced MOHD in response to ongoing market changes, including consolidation, acquisitions and evolving customer buying patterns. The company says the Pro-Cut X1 HD On-Truck Brake Lathe can cut down a heavy-duty brake resurfacing job from six-hours, to 30 minutes.

Pro-Cut X1 has introduced the HD On-Truck Brake Lathe, which it says is designed for shops servicing heavy-duty brakes, including truck and bus brake rotor resurfacing. Pro-Cut says the X1 speeds up the process of getting heavy-duty vehicles back into service.

The Pro-Cut X1 is powered by a 48V DC variable speed motor, which the company says is capable of turning bus and truck axles. Pro-Cut tells us the low-range gearbox provides torque, while adjustable tool arms and a 190 mm feed screw allow technicians to match-machine the largest rotors in the industry.
