Robert F. Bardsley Chesapeake – Robert F. Bardsley, loving husband and father, 78, passed away on June 19, 2015 in his home.
Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Ann Bardsley. He was retired from LaFarge Calcium Aluminates as a Control Room Operator after 37 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and enjoyed music, gardening and reading.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 55 years, Frances Bardsley; daughter, Karen; grandson, David; great grandson, Carson and his mother, Kyndall; sister-in-law, June; a brother, a sister as well as several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. He will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kim and Amanda from Comfort Care Home Health and Hospice for the care and compassion they provided.
Calcined Bauxite Uses A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Hollomon-Brown, Great Bridge Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be offered to the family at: www.hollomon-brown.com
