Welding equipment stolen from Westminster construction site - Newport Dispatch

WESTMINSTER — Windham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a Lincoln Electric “Ranger” 225 Engine Driven Welder and roughly 200 feet of cable from an I-91 construction site.

The theft occurred at the Rt. 121 bridge in Westminster and was reported to authorities on June 11 at about 9 a.m. The red and black welder, essential to the construction work, was last seen by the site workers the previous evening. Welding Machine Tools

Deputy J. Cohen is leading the investigation into the incident, marked as case number 24WHC003023.

The Windham County Sheriff’s Office is calling on anyone with information about the theft to come forward to assist in the recovery of the stolen equipment.

The investigation into the theft is ongoing.
