MIM Software Accused of Stealing Progenics’ Tumor-Imaging Tech

Progenics Pharmaceuticals Inc. accused MIM Software Inc. of reneging on a proposed partnership, stealing its protected cancer-imaging technology, and incorporating those designs into a lineup of medical diagnostic software.

MIM infringed two patents covering the scan-interpretation technology to improve its own software and to market itself to GE HealthCare Technologies Inc., which recently bought the company, Progenics said in the complaint filed Feb. 23 in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
