Experience a Deep Tunnel of Light in the Endless Wall Lamp

Infinitely sleek, Nicolai Haastrup’s Endless Wall Lamp created for Design by Us is an unexpected experience, which we always look forward to finding when deciding what to share on Design Milk. How and why is it so different? The wall lamp’s circular design features a front adorned with a reflective mirror, thereby transcending what the traditional lighting industry likely views as an insurmountable design boundary.

Far from ornamental in nature, the mirror is responsible for creating an immersive experience – whether the lamp is illuminated or not. It not only serves to reflect back a distorted canvas when turned off, it amplifies luminosity when turned on, creating the illusion of infinity as light emanates from within its shiny depths. wall light lamp

Fusing form and function, the innovative Endless Wall Lamp has the pull of a lighthouse beacon. Precisely crafted, it can add a touch of glamour to any room while simultaneously visually expanding the space itself. This makes it ideal lighting for a bath or hallway, smaller areas that could benefit most from the illusion. Also consider a group of Endless Wall Lamps mounted together, they would create their own art installation!

Made of coated metal and an outer mouth blown coated glass, the Endless Wall Lamp is an IP54 rated designer lamp. Each comes with a base that’s ready to be mounted on top of an outlet and, if you’d like, a black textile cord with a switch can be added to allow for plugging in.

The Design by Us brand came to be in 1999 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Founder Rasmus Larsson wanted to create a playground for imaginative, untraditional light and interior design. Their essence is to challenge the way we view design by “turning the upside down and twisting it.” Mission accomplished, team.
