Necessary Good is a new brand that was launched in March this year and specialises in manufacturing skincare products. The brand’s initial range includes face washes, moisturisers, face mists, as well as micellar water.

Croxsons said that the brand’s founder decided to opt for a glass packaging solution to ensure the durability, recyclability, and aesthetics of the product’s packaging.

The glass manufacturer has developed two sizes of cylindrical glass bottles for the company, including 100ml and 200ml.

The leaf-green-coloured bottles include screw atomisers, overcap dip tubes, lotion pumps, as well as screw caps to be used as closures.

Necessary Good founder and CEO Assel Kapparova said: “In terms of working with Croxsons, I have nothing but great things to say.

“When I showed them my packaging brief, they helped me find the closest bottle match without having to consider a custom design – the match is uncanny.”

Necessary Good also offers a refilling service that allows its customers to reuse compostable eco-refill pouches.

It added that once its consumers start running low on any of the company’s products, they can order 100% biodegradable refill pouches and later transfer its contents into the glass packaging.

This compostable, biobased, and biodegradable packaging will further allow Necessary Good to contribute to minimising waste in the beauty industry.

Croxsons CEO Tim Croxson said: “We believe that the end result is both unique and modern, providing a visually appealing and memorable look.

“We wholeheartedly embrace Necessary Good’s ethos, supporting their vision for a greener future. The company extends its best wishes to Necessary Good, hoping for continued success in their sustainable journey.”

Last month, Croxsons and Eden Mill Distillery introduced new primary packaging for the launch of London Dry Gin, a premium version of Ramsay’s Gin.
