Electric Vehicles (EVs): One in seven EVs are found right here in PG&E’s service area and the number of public EV chargers continues to grow. There are several programs currently available to help you save energy and money with an EV:     Pre-Owned EV Rebate Program: this offers residential customers a rebate for purchasing or leasing a qualified used EV. There is a $1,000 base rebate and a $4,000 rebate for income-qualified customers. Customers can also take advantage of other purchase or lease incentives for their used EV, such as the federal used EV tax credit and state/regional/local programs like Clean Cars for All or Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) programs.

Residential Charging Solutions: makes it more affordable to charge your EV at home by providing a $700 rebate on PG&E-approved EV charging equipment with no service panel upgrades needed.

Empower EV: gives income-eligible customers a free Level 2 charger and up to $2,000 per single-family household for panel upgrades.
